TEST ANALYST An opportunity exists for a test analyst in a fast-growing ASX-listed financial services company headquartered in Sydney. Requirements include: • Experience within Financial Services • Good commercial experience as a test analyst in the Financial Services Industry • A good understanding of Process Flows • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills • Must be meticulous and results focused • Ability to handle pressure while working under tight deadlines
Responsibilities include: • Coordinate with developers, business analysts and subject matter experts to design tests and test cases based on business requirements • Write a test plan based on the requirements in the Business Requirement Document (BRD) • Perform test plan formulation and develop test scripts and test cases for both major releases and service packs. • Analyse issues/defects identified in test environment setup or during test execution including troubleshooting/problem determination. • Raise and document defects for test scripts as part of defect management and drive to resolution. • Collate and document test results for the Business to provide a signoff • Assist and support the business with User Acceptance Test (UAT) test case creation and execution.
The Test Analyst will be part of a team reporting to the Head of Business Management Office and working alongside our Developers and Testers. A competitive remuneration package is offered for the person with appropriate skills and capabilities.

Requirements include: Mandatory 1. Minimum 3 years financial services experience 2. Minimum 1 years Unit registry experience 3. Proven ability in requirements gathering with excellent communication skills 4. Previous experience with data warehouses 5. Microsoft Office suite/SQL 6. Ability to take responsibility and drive to an outcome 7. Flexible team player Desirable 1. Experience with AML and FATCA 2. Experience in quality assurance 3. Tertiary qualification in either Business/Finance or I.T.
